This was an app I designed that would aid people in the kitchen, replacing the poor experience of reading the small font of a recipe on your desktop with an app that would chunk up instructions in easy to follow steps.
Storyboarding is one method I like to use that helps me get into the users shoes. By drawing out a scenario, it helps me place the problem in a real life context and imagine how my solutions would fit in.
