2015- Nov to Dec Recap
Well its already 2016. I am actually pretty happy that 2015 ended. Although there were good times, no doubt that this year was tough. But like usability testing, we learn more from our failures, and indeed I learned a lot more about myself this year and I think about life.
It almost seems unfair that the best holidays are all pushed together at the end of the year. It felt like we just passed Thanksgiving and then rushed into Christmas. At least all the department stores made sure you know that thanksgiving was over and it was time to start buying their stuff.
This thanksgiving, I got to try some more chalkboarding, which I really enjoy. There is such satisfaction when looking at the finished product. Unfortunately however...the pen I used does not come off 100% so I need to spray paint the board again. Who'd have though you'd be able to spray paint chalkboard. Brilliant!
This year I experienced the whole shopping ordeal with a lot less joy and a whole lot of humbug. Luckily, I had the brilliant idea of gifting all of my family with tickets to Star Wars, which we all have been a fan of since we could say "vader". I love Star Wars, and this one blew me away. It was so fantastic to see a strong heroine (who's a jedi!!) who could laugh and kick-butt.
It was nice spending some time at home, and re-watching some Christmas favorites. I was shocked how many of my friends still had not watched It's a Wonderful Life. Do yourself a favor and go watch it please.
Well Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and a very Happy NEW YEAR!
I am so thankful for all that I experienced this year, and let's hope that 2016 will be filled with greater blessings and surprises ;)
